I have found a place of wise counsel and it's among my friends in Sisters of the Crown. I'm grateful to my sisters for speaking into my life, for offering words of advice, and for gently challenging me to dream bigger. In this group of sisters I have always been welcomed, valued, and accepted just as I am. They model for me the love that Jesus has for all of us.
During my coronation experience, an older Christian woman spoke words of encouragement and life into my heart. At that time, I had recently finished cancer treatment and I was tired and ready to move on to better and brighter things. It was a day that lifted me up when I desperately needed it. And I can honestly say that every experience I have with SOTC is a time that builds me up and teaches me about the amazing love of Jesus. It has changed my life for the better and brought me closer to God. It has given me the confidence to pray big prayers and to draw closer to God knowing that he is the ultimate wise counselor.
Where there is no guidance the people fall, But in abundance of counselors there is victory. Proverbs 11:14 NASB
