Prayers of Thanksgiving

We pause as we countdown to American Thanksgiving and reflect on what the Lord has done and continues to do in our lives. Take a few moments this week to be still and invite His Presence to overwhelm you this week. We are grateful for our sisterhood around the world.

Day One

Dear Father, we pause for a moment and take notice of your presence. We focus our hearts on gratitude for who you are and the incredible things you have done for us. We are swept away by your unfailing love. As we reflect on your goodness in our lives, we are aware of your lavish generosity. The gift of life, the ability to love and be loved, the opportunity to live in the playground you created just for us – filled with so much beauty and splendor. We are grateful for clean water and food to eat, clothing to wear, shelter and provision, freedom, and hearts that are occupied by you . . . so much of you. We offer gratitude for the things in our lives that are not ideal. Those circumstances that are challenging, unfair, difficult or extremely painful. When our hearts are stretched to the limit and we feel emotions that overwhelm, thank you that you are right beside us. When we release tears from our weary eyes, we find gratitude knowing you are right there, in the moment, keeping us aware that we are never alone, not for one minute. We thank you that in these moments, in the dark places, we find comfort in your embrace as we grow deeper in intimacy with you. Thank you, Father, for the greatest gift of all . . . your unconditional and never-ending love. We are undone by you. Our hearts are forever grateful. We love, honor, and adore you. In the Precious Name of Jesus. Amen.

Day Two

Holy Spirit, we invite your fire to fall upon us. Calm and align our life according to your perfect will. Rearrange our life and priorities to be in perfect alignment for Your purpose and plan. Burn away everything you do not want for us in this season. Give us wisdom to discern the good from the best. Send your refining fire to purify the gold and melt away the excess. Remove anything that would easily entangle us so that we can run full speed ahead towards Your Loving Face. Anything that is hard for us to let go of, in your infinite mercy bring your unfailing grace to take it away. Let us be so undone by your love that nothing else matters except running after You. Be the only one who can pull on our heartstrings. We are running after you with everything inside of us, holding nothing back. In Jesus' Name! Amen.

Day Three

Dear Daddy, we approach life as an adventure by having a growth mindset. The evidence of being fully alive is that we are growing. You created us to stretch beyond our comfort zone and try new things – experience Your creation and live an amazing life. We choose to see challenges as opportunities rather than setups for failure. We will have a growth mindset. We will embrace life learning to improve and stretch and find the JOY of life. We will stop talking and start doing. In the Powerful Name above every name, Jesus. Amen.

Day Four

Our Father, we choose to notice the doors You open for us, even when they are not the doors we are trying to open. We trust that You direct our path. We will pivot when our direction does not line up with Your plan. We will listen closely when You speak. We will test what we hear against Your Word. We still stand firm and wait patiently. We will never lose hope. Never! We will be on watch for the suddenlies and will hold firm to the full knowledge that we were created for such a time as this. In the name above all Names, Precious Jesus. Amen.

Day Five

Father, help us be women who build up other women with our words. Allow our words to be filled with joy in life. Help us to know when to speak and when to be silent Help us to know what is You and what is not You. Allow your spirit of discernment to be evident in our life and show us your heart concerning things. Release your spirit and breathe into our life. Blow through the dry and dark, broken places and impart Your plan and purpose to us. God, release Your will for our life. Give us full vision. Your vision. Open our eyes to see all that is of You. In the Unshakable Name of our Risen Savior, Jesus. Amen.

Day Six

Dear Abba, we pray Your Word into our life. Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen. This testimony of faith is what previous generations were commended for. Faith empowers us to see that the universe was created and beautifully coordinated by the power of God’s words! He spoke and the invisible realm gave birth to all that is seen. Hebrews 11: 1-3 (TPT)

You perpetually see our best and act on our behalf. Preparation is moving faith. It is evidence of our expectation that great things await and position us to be ready! Changing perspectives about preparation is a game changer. It is important we push past feeling insignificant during our season of preparation. Preparation time is not filled with marching bands and parades or the excitement of a large event. But it is vital, vital, vital! Prepare us, Precious Father. We want to be ready for all You have for us. In the Name that is beyond it all, JESUS! Amen.

Day Seven

Holy Father, we declare that we walk in a new level of anointing. You are pouring fresh oil over us. Our "suddenly" moment is on the horizon. We will see changes in our relationships, jobs, health, emotions, finances. We will see breakthroughs in every area of our life.

When there is no clear prophetic vision, people quickly wander astray. But when you follow the revelation of the word, heaven’s bliss fills your soul. Proverbs 29:18 (TPT)

We declare we have prophetic vision for the future and we will stay the course with you. In our Mighty, Powerful Holy Savior's Name we pray. Amen.
